Henrietta Norris

I am deeply moved by the Australian landscape and its wildlife, and this drives my designs. I have a keen interest in vibrant colour, intriguing texture and organic form.

Evolution and experimentation are key parts of my practice. I constantly challenge myself with new forms, glazes and glaze application. If I am not satisfied with a finished pieces I am happy to reglaze and put the piece through another firing in my kiln. Some times my pieces are fired three times.

I have my own studio, in an old raspberry pickers hut in a valley on the slopes of Mt Wellington/Kunyani.
